Discipline and Self Defense for All Ages

At Midwest Academy of Self Defense, students of all ages build strength, confidence, and focus through dynamic, engaging martial arts training. Our programs emphasize self-defense fundamentals, discipline, and respect—while encouraging physical fitness and mental awareness. With passionate, experienced instructors, we create a welcoming environment where kids and adults can grow in skill and character while having fun and staying active.

We offer a variety of classes for ages 4 and up, including Tiny Dragons, Youth Classes, Adult Taekwondo & Hapkido, and Women’s Self Defense. Classes run multiple times per week, giving families flexible options to train consistently. Monthly pricing is affordable, and students progress at their own pace. Our structured approach—rooted in courtesy, integrity, perseverance, self-control, and indomitable spirit—ensures every student gains real-life skills they can carry for life.

Class Schedule & Details

Tuesday

  • 4:30–5:15pm – Tiny Dragons (Ages 4–6)
  • 5:30–6:20pm – Kids Class (Ages 7–12)
  • 6:30–7:20pm – Teens/Adult Taekwondo (Ages 13+)
  • 7:30–8:20pm – Teens/Adult Hapkido (Ages 16+)

Thursday

  • 5:30–6:20pm – Kids Class (Ages 7–12)
  • 6:30–7:20pm – Teens/Adult Taekwondo (Ages 13+)
  • 7:30–8:20pm – Teens/Adult Hapkido (Ages 16+)

Friday

  • 5:30–6:20pm – Kids Class (Ages 7–12)
  • 6:30–7:20pm – Teens/Adult Taekwondo (Ages 13+)
  • 7:30–8:20pm – Teens/Adult Hapkido (Ages 16+)

Saturday

  • 9:00–9:45am – Tiny Dragons (Ages 4–6)
  • 10:00–10:50am – Kids Class (Ages 7–12)
  • 11:00–11:50am – Teens/Adult Taekwondo (Ages 13+)
  • 12:00–12:50pm – Teens/Adult Hapkido (Ages 16+)
  • 1:00–1:50pm – Women’s Self Defense (Ages 16+)
