USAG Power Tumbling
USAG Power Tumbling is a program for the advanced athlete who wishes to train more vigorously and show their skills in competitions. They are chosen based on skill level, work ethic, attitude, discipline, and the desire to compete.
Power Tumbling demonstrates speed, strength and skill while executing a series of acrobatic maneuvers. Tumblers who have mastered the art of Power Tumbling will perform explosive somersaults with multiple flips and twists.
Midwest offers competitive power tumbling for students that wish to concentrate exclusively on the tumbling aspect of gymnastics and would like a competitive experience under the USTA guidelines. Team members practice fewer hours and compete in local, state and national competitions. Power tumbling offers competitions for all skill and age levels and is a excellent way for students to enjoy a positive competitive experience without dedication as many hours per week towards training that is required in traditional artistic gymnastics. The Midwest Power Tumbling Team competes in the USTA-AAU program in events such as the rod floor, double mini, and trampoline.
