Fitness Class Descriptions
Yoga-Jacki In a flowing sequence of traditional poses come find the edge you've been looking for. Using movement with breath, increase your strength, coordination, concentration, and body awareness while calming your mind and reducing stress. Challenge yourself at your level, and leave feeling more balanced, on the mat and off. Fees: $25/month for Members, $35/month for Non-Members, or $10 per class.
Pilates-Alisha Pilates is a series of whole body exercises designed to build strength while developing balance and flexibility. Primarily, these exercises focus on the body’s abdominal and back muscles and on spinal mobility. The majority of the exercises are done on one’s back, promoting core strength in a supported position. Pilates is excellent for all levels of fitness and can be tailored to suit almost any physical limitation. Fees: $25/month for Members, $35/month for Non-Members, or $10 per class.
Boot Camp Aerobics-Alisha This intense workout will improve your strength and cardiovascular endurance, while toning your body. Specific muscle groups will be targeted utilizing resistance bands, plyometric excercises, boxing drills, and free weights.
Basic Step-Alisha The name says it all! You will learn the basic step terminology and become comfortable performing the various moves on the step. Using just a step platform you can burn belly fat, tone your thighs, and enjoy a cool cardio workout.
Toning-Alisha Lose inches and increase strength in this well rounded toning class using resistance bands, hand weights, and even your own body weight. A lengthy abdominal workout is included. A water bottle and small towel are highly recommended!
Zumba-Leslie The Zumba program fuses up beat Latin rhythms and easy to follow moves, creating a one of a kind fitness program that will blow you away! The routines feature interval training sessions where fast and slow rhythms and resistrance training are combined to tone and sculpt your body while burning fat. Fees: $25/month for Members, $35/month for Non-Members, or $10 per class.
